Toddlers don't make exercise easy

I realized I have to exercise 1x early in the week, 1x at middle, and 1x at end. Since moving the beast was impossible, I brought down the iPod, headphones, his drink, his snack (otherwise he cries), setup his entertainment and t.v., remind him where potty is, setup my fan, the lighting, get dressed, stretch, and finally...do it. It takes about 1/2 as long to setup everyone versus exercise. Halfway through he had a tantrum his pretzels fell out of the bowl. I told him to pick them up as "I can't stop", which he did. I try to zone out and he kind of fights for my attention. Seriously, he may be jealous of the treadmill. :) I can see why I haven't exercised much as you really have to want to do it with all the preparation.

Anyway, today I went .90 miles, up to 3 incline of 10, and burned 127 calories, estimated. It's probably more than that, who knows what they're factoring it. I find the higher inclines (3-4) easier than 1-2, who knows. What's really mentally annoying is I know a part of me doesn't want to exercise because I know I can't go as hard or as good as I did years ago. It's very frustrating to see you can only do "x" and that's it. But, as I know from before, the beginning is the hardest. And as of weeks ago I did nothing, so... It has been stress relieving and a good break to the day. As during this time he comes 2nd and I come 1st. Hehe. (evil laugh). He is really cute on the treadmill afterward, he does his 'dinosaur walk' on there.
