Exercised 3x this week
I managed to exercise 3x this week - including today. So that brings me to 2.4 miles for the week...which is 2.4 miles more than I walked 2 weeks ago. :) I feel a little more energetic and it isn't such a strain as a week ago.
In other news, I wanted to say Glenn's language has exploded. For some reason toddlers open the verbal floodgates at a certain age and then never stop talking. Earlier in the week he commented on my dirty baking sheet on the dishwasher "That is dirty...that's disgusting". I was like...you said disgusting?! I never taught him that, I think. Today he said a few amazing things, one of which: "I need food...I need apple slices...in living room, not in the high chair." You just stand there shocked. A while back I was just dying for a word...so I wouldn't have to guess as much to what he wanted. Now I get complete, grammatically correct sentences. Hopefully the more verbal improves, the tantrums decrease. We're still in tantrum land and it really throws you a curve ball. He's also been throwing us some tough days that make you just want to hop in the car and leave. His language is getting crazy! We're very proud.
Another thing...we've been going out, usually to stores, with no diaper/whatever protection. We just bring a potty and he uses it! It's crazy. He will let us know. For some reason he has almost no accidents in stores but then comes home and relieves himself on my hardwoods/couch/carpet whatever he likes. We're getting there...it's such an un-fun process for us.
We went to a home improvement store recently and he pointed out all the signs. He absolutely loves street and safety signs (and cars and trucks). Every time we pull up to a red light he asks about the "no left turn" or "no U turn" or whatever sign's there. Really cute and boy-like.This is an older photo...now we've totally given up on Pull Ups. They leak so bad for an older kid.
In this photo he said "look, 2 dune buggies, mommy!"
